E-Frame Standard 1200 Tugger Train Trailer

E-Frame is an exceptionally robust tugger train trailer for carrying interchangeable platforms in a variety of configurations. Its design, proven over 12 years of production use, combines reliability, ease of operation and simple servicing. It allows you to organise the transport of raw materials, components, semi-finished and finished products within a single internal transport system.

Use across industries and production stages

E-Frame trailers are used in automotive plants, by household appliance and consumer electronics manufacturers, in the electronics industry and in other manufacturing companies. They can handle deliveries from the warehouse to production, the movement of materials between workstations and the collection of finished products for further process stages.

One of the main advantages of the system is its ability to work with platforms configured for different loads and tasks. Choosing the right platform lets you adapt the transport method to the container format, the type of parts being carried and the workstation layout. The trailer remains part of the transport set, while the platforms used with it can perform different functions in the material delivery and collection process.

• The platform moves on its own wheels

  • In the Myzer E-Frame system, the platform is not lifted. Its wheels remain on the floor even while the train is moving.
  • Correct interaction with the trailer requires the platform to be fitted with four swivel castors. Platforms with two fixed and two swivel castors are not compatible with this solution.
  • This requirement must be taken into account when ordering the platform and when assessing whether trolleys already in use at your plant can be used.
  • The minimum height of a compatible platform above the floor is 295 mm. Higher platforms are permitted.
• Matching the trailer to the container format

  • The standard version is E-Frame 1200 × 1000 mm. Variant designations refer to the maximum container base format for which the system is selected — they are not the external dimensions of the trailer.
  • Two width groups are available: 1000 mm and 1200 mm. Length can be adjusted in 100 mm increments, from 1200 to 2000 mm. Example versions are 1400 × 1000, 1600 × 1000, 1800 × 1000 and 2000 × 1000 mm, plus the corresponding 1200 mm wide variants.
  • Dimensions are extended by changing the length while keeping the width of the selected group. The smallest specified container base format is 600 × 800 mm; handling it requires a suitably selected platform that works with the trailer.
• Works with electric tow tractors and AGV robots

  • The E-Frame trailer drawbar and coupling are adapted to the standard pin couplings used on European electric tow tractors and AGV robots. This makes it possible to select a connection for a wide range of towing vehicles and to combine trailers into tugger trains.
  • As a result, E-Frame can operate in operator-driven transport or as part of a set towed by a suitably selected AGV robot. The choice of drawbar and coupling takes into account the mechanical connection with the specific vehicle.
